We enjoyed our lunch at Spechts. Our waitress was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection and I really appreciated the garlic/herb butter on top. The asparagus was also cooked well and my husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak. We definitely will be back.
Specht’s is the kind of place that reminds you why Texas hospitality hits different. From the second you walk in, the atmosphere feels authentic, great live music, cold drinks, amazing food, and people who actually make you feel welcome instead of just served. The food was absolutely top tier. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and cooked with care. What really stood out though was the vibe. Whether you’re there with family, friends, or just stopping by for a drink and some music, the place feels alive in the best way possible. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back country energy and a fun night out.
Stopped by Spechts after our flag football team won their championship game and had an awesome experience. The place was packed, but the staff handled everything incredibly well. Our waitress Brooklyn was absolutely amazing — she managed a large group, kept everyone on separate checks, and got all of our orders taken quickly and efficiently without missing a beat. The kitchen also did a fantastic job getting the food out fast, especially considering how busy it was. On top of that, the managers were constantly out checking on guests and making sure everything was running smoothly. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere to celebrate a big win. Highly recommend!
Nice little gem away from the city.. steak and mashed potatoes were 👌 for desert we had the cobbler with ice cream. Definitely recommend it. Live music was also a nice touch. Had plenty of shade and things to keep the kids busy.. will most definitely be back soon 👍
I should’ve taken more pictures, but forgot about leaving a review because I was so excited to eat my burger. It was delicious, our server was very kind and attentive, the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean with plenty of TVs. My other family members really enjoyed the chili, catfish, chicken fried steak and potatoes. Highly recommend the drive to eat some delicious food and support a local business.
What a fun place! Get the jalapeno popper things with queso! Thank me later. Chicken friend steak was solid. The chicken and waffles is so freaking good. Wasn't a fan of the Dr. Pepper sheet cake. Paloma, Ranch Water and an Old Fashioned all really good. We hung out for live music (Galina and the Diamondbacks). Pedro was super attentive. Would love to go back next time we are in town.

What a great country spot. The outside dining room is rustic and feels 100% Texas. I had the jalapeno boats and country fried steak. Both were hand breaded/battered. The country fried steak w/ bacon green beans and mashed taters was excellent. I will definitely be back on a weekend evening to take in some live entertainment. Dogs are welcome outside. Definitely visit.
First time here and we are glad we came! They have live music. Beer buckets are cold! Maria our server was super nice to us and always checked on us. The chicken fried steak is one the best I’ve ever had! You need to try it!
Well we came in a torrential downpour and the rain couldn’t keep us away. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The house singer was great and the playlist they had before he came on was just hit after country hit, I was having a great time. Then our food came, it was all delicious! Of course we were a large group so we all tried everything. Just order anytime but don’t forget to order cobbler…. We will definitely be back when it’s a little drier.
